leo. is a rising artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2018. Having been classically trained at the age of five, leo. has honed his natural affinity for music over the years to become the artist that he is today. The now eighteen-year-old songwriter recorded and produced his debut single from his bedroom in Portugal and has continued to develop his talent since then.
leo. went on to release five more singles and moved to the United Kingdom to study. Desiring to “connect with [his] audience on a deeper level”, leo. draws from his own life experience to create his catchy melodies and lyrics; combining a variety of stylistic elements to form his unique and authentic sound that has been described as “eclectic” and “vulnerable”.
To date, leo. has six singles in his Spotify discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘despair’, amassing almost two million eight hundred thousand streams, ‘here with you’, gathering over two hundred and seventy-nine thousand streams, and ‘dreamland’, with over two hundred and sixty thousand streams.

LISTEN TO THE FULL EP BELOW
leo.'s upcoming debut EP, ‘drink my soul’, will be released on the 25th of June and will be available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The EP consists of five tracks:
mean | dancing in the corner | heartbreak | soul of steam | two for too long
Although ‘drink my soul’ is technically grouped under one genre classification, each track delivers a diverse range of compositional elements that showcase leo.’s songwriting talent; from the foundational ukulele progression and melodic piano that amalgamate to provide the perfect platform for the emotive vocal line of ‘mean’, the cinematic strings, memorable melody and creative flare delivered by the harmonized backing vocalizations of ‘heartbreak’, to the atmospheric percussion, uplifting instrumental vibe and authentic lyricism of ‘two for too long’.
The EP was recorded during leo.'s first year at Leeds Conservatoire. The songs are a selection of compositions from as early as 2018 (mean) all the way to the summer of 2020 (soul of steam). The common theme of relationships, be it with himself, with others, or with the world, is present all throughout the EP, which is heightened by the stripped-down production and honest vocal delivery.
